What We Keep, We Keep Well
On obscure objects and their keeping
We are a small studio concerned with presence—the kind that makes a room quiet. Objects cross our table because they are singular in form or story. We restore lightly when needed, never to erase time, only to steady it.
Every piece is photographed, described, and recorded before it meets the light. The notes you read on a product page are drawn from this log.
We publish slowly and without hurry. If you are searching for something precise, ask for a Quiet Search. We will look, and we will write back.
Practice
Selection is guided by clarity of form, truth of material, and the charge an object creates in a room. Provenance is pursued wherever it can be traced; uncertainty is stated plainly.
Care
We avoid over-restoration. Surfaces are cleaned by hand; repairs are reversible; storage is dry and padded. Patina is not a flaw—it is the record of time.
